I 'm sure you've seen a lot of them around; people who used to be someone or something important but are not anymore. They used to have a lot of this and that but they don't anymore. Frequently we meet people who used to be and used to have. Unfortunately, some of them are Christians and their situation makes you wonder "why?" It's because they are ignorant of God's Word. If you maintain your position in God's Word, you can never be reduced. You will only have your life grow from grace to grace and from faith to faith; you can only experience the uplifting power of God in your life. But to have that consistently, you must stay in the Word. Because Satan is in charge of the world's system, everything in it is programmed for failure and death. You can save yourself from the death in the world's system by living consistently in the Word of God. Get good Christian books and tapes to study God's Word. Keep listening to the Word of God day in, day out, because if you don't choose what to hear, you'll definitely hear what you shouldn't! You have to constantly bombard your mind with the Word of God so that your faith continually grows, then you will be ready to meet the challenges and crises of life in the present hour, and you will never die out or dry out. So make up your mind now, you can actually chart your course for success, strength and a victorious life in Christ.
