WHATEVER WILL BE...

WHATEVER WILL BE...

June 3rd, 2005

" Whatever will be will be!" You must have heard that many times before; maybe you even said it yourself. "If God says it's going to happen to me, then it will"; "If God says, I'm going to have that job, then I'm going to have it, but if God says it's not mine, then it's not mine." This sounds nice and religious and makes people think you really believe in God, and have great reverence for His sovereignty. However, God doesn't want you talking like that. The reason is that such statements are not true and do not impress Him. There is a system working in the world, and that system was not established by God but by Satan. He has been responsible for the system of the world ever since Adam lost his right to it when he committed high treason against God. When Jesus came, He defeated Satan and all the cohorts of hell, and took the keys of death and hell from him. However, the evil system the devil set in motion has continued, because men and women in the world now operate it. Though Satan has been defeated, he's still very much the head of the world's ungodly system. That's why you are at risk of letting the devil's set-up work against you when you say, "Whatever will be will be!" The devil is out to stop you from becoming what God wants you to be and from having what God has given to you. You need to realize that he doesn't play fair. Things will not change for the better unless you change them. You have the power to change them through the spoken word of faith. Begin now to change things and make them suit you and those around you by confessing God's Word.

Confession

I'm not at the mercy of life's circumstances and the system of this world. I am not a child of chance but empowered by the Holy Spirit to take charge of my life and the circumstances thereof, by the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! FOR
