I’m always stirred in my spirit when I think of this truth: that we can obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. We’re not asked to pray or beg God for it, but to come boldly unto the throne of grace and obtain it. That means we can obtain mercy for the lost. No wonder Jesus said, “… as the Father has sent Me forth, so I am sending you… if you forgive the sins of anyone, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of anyone, thy are retained” (John 20:21, 23 AMP).
This means you can declare on behalf of the wayward or wicked “In the Name of Jesus, you’re forgiven,” because you’ve obtained mercy from the throne of grace on their behalf. In the same vein, you can obtain mercy for a city or nation, even one full of spiritually and morally bankrupt people. You can pray thus: “Father, in the Name of Jesus, I obtain mercy for them. Let the Spirit of salvation be released upon them in the Name of Jesus!” Yes, you can obtain mercy for the wayward, the wicked and the lost in your city or nation; you can find grace to help in time of need.
There’s abundant grace in God’s throne-room to help the lost, the sick, the dying, the outcast, and the downtrodden. Thank God, you and I have been sent to help them. It’s time for you take up your position as a minister and intercessor and obtain mercy and find grace to help such people in your town, city or country. You can take as much grace as you need for their sake. There’s an abundance of grace and mercy flowing from the throne-room of God; take it and spread it around!
